The Difference Between Class A, B & C Motorhomes

Class A Motorhome

Class A, B, and C motorhomes are the three classes of recreational vehicles (RVs) that are available on the market today. While they all offer the same basic features, there are some distinct differences between them that make them better suited for different types of RVers. Here at All Stars RV in Littleton, we offer motorhomes for sale of all classes, as well as service and parts. Learn about the differences below, and see our inventory today!

Class A Motorhomes

Class A motorhomes are the largest and most luxurious of the three classes. They come with a wide range of features, including slide-outs, full bathrooms, full kitchens, and often a bedroom. They are also the most expensive and require the most maintenance. Class A motorhomes are a great option for those who plan to travel extensively and want to have all the amenities of home.

Class B Motorhome

Class B Motorhomes

Class B motorhomes , also known as camper vans, are the smallest of the three classes and offer the least amount of space and amenities. They are much more affordable than Class A motorhomes and are ideal for those who don’t need all the bells and whistles, but still want the convenience of an RV. Class B motorhomes are easier to drive and are often used for shorter trips.

Class C Motorhomes

Class C motorhomes , also known as mini motorhomes, are the most common type of RV and offer the best of both worlds. They are bigger than Class Bs, but not as big as Class As. They offer full bathrooms and kitchens and are still an affordable option. They are great for those who want the convenience of an RV, but don’t need all the features of a larger model.

What It Boils Down To

What the difference between the Class A, B, and C motorhomes boils down to is the chassis that they are built on. Class A uses a bus or commercial truck chassis. Class B is basically a van chassis. And Class C motorhomes use a smaller truck chassis.

No matter which class of motorhome you choose, they all offer the same basic features and are an excellent way to explore the great outdoors. They provide a great way to travel, see the sights, and make memories that will last a lifetime. To see the differences in person, stop by All Stars RV in Littleton today!
